Whether the health of our environment, the guarantee of reproductive rights, or our interdependent relationship with the natural world, the Jacob and Terese Hershey Foundation supports those working boldly toward a healthy, harmonious world for people and nature.
$1.635 Million Flows Back to Gulf Coast Communities
The Jacob and Terese Hershey Foundation is proud to announce the grantees of the Texas Coastal Frontline Fund, distributing $1.635 million in legal settlement proceeds to over 30 nonprofits working on the front lines of environmental and climate justice along the Texas Gulf Coast. From grassroots community groups to Indigenous-led organizations to legal advocates, these grants are going directly to the people who have long borne the costs of pollution.
Are you a small group with a time-sensitive need?
The Jacob and Terese Hershey Foundation invites you to learn about the Latitude Fund, a grantmaking program designed to provide quick-turnaround grants to grassroots groups working on environmental issues and reproductive rights in Texas to enhance capacity, functioning and impact. The inspiration for the Latitude Fund came from our grantee partners, who shared that real-time funding for internal needs can be a game-changer for community-based groups.
